Tennis in the Parks is offered in many different Greater Mankato Area locations each summer! There is no set age range but the program is recommended for students entering grades 2nd- 7th grade. Each program will last 1 week, and cover a variety of tennis topics, fundamentals, group games, and introduce players to every shot involved in the game of tennis! ANY PLAYER 10 and older looking to play matches should sign up for 12U or 13-15U Team Tennis.

For all camps wear tennis shoes, bring water, and a racquet. (racquets available to borrow if necessary)
Entering K & 1st Grade ‘ROGY’ tennis: We’re advising families to support the picklebarn now that it’s open as they offer lessons more individualized for these ages with more time/date options OTHERWISE we are only offering a camp in August for this age!
Entering 2nd-4th grade: Development of fundamental strokes will be the core of this program along with group games and interactive movement of feet and making contact to hit over net! 11:30-12:45 or 3-4:15 PM (check locations above)
Entering 5th-7th grade: Players will work on topspin ground-strokes, volleys, overheads, and continental serves gaining the capacity for rally tennis and games. 12:45-2:00PM or 4:15-5:30 PM (check locations below)
